Control of potato viruses, phytoplasmas and their vectors in the face of climate change
The 18th EAPR Virology Triennial Meeting will highlight the latest advances in research on potato viral diseases in Europe, including for the first time a session on phytoplasma and phloem bacterial diseases.
The meeting is open to scientists from all relevant disciplines as well as participants from the potato sector, government agencies and organizations responsible for the surveillance and management of potato diseases.
The EAPR Virology Triennial Meeting will be held at Agroscope in Nyon (Switzerland), route de Duillier 60, from June 1 to 5, 2025.
The meeting will be dedicated to:
Epidemiology under climate pressure: emerging patterns and vector dynamics
Stolbur and arsenophonus in potato: epidemiology, impact and diagnostic challenges
Molecular basis of plant–virus recognition and response
Plant–aphid interactions and innovative control measures in potato crop protection
Long-term surveillance of plant viruses: insights from national monitoring programs
Diagnostic tools for viral and phloemien bacterial diseases in potato crops.
